Hello
I am Andrew Clark. After serving in ministry for over 30 years, I have come to the point of understanding this one thing; and that is, that most of us are in need of image restoration and/or realignment of identity. Because false images and mistaken identities avail and abound in this world, like a disease, I have made it my purpose to teach Truth that will heal and make us free. (John 8:32) I am here to serve, I pursue, daily to become, and most importantly; I am free.
The Iridescent Butterfly
I was walking through the parking lot, one warm and
sunny day
When I came upon a butterfly lying in dismay
It was lying there, glistening, in an iridescent pool of oil
Was it alive? Was it dead? Had it come to the end of toil?
I gently picked the creature up, hoping that it still had life
I flung it briskly from my hand seeking for it to take flight
But alas it didn’t, flutter it didn’t fly, it didn’t 'fled'.
It simply fell with haste to the earth, yes, the butterfly was dead.
I stood in stark amazement and wondered what had gone wrong.
How this blessed creature of flight had wandered so far from home.
In fields of grass and flowers-bloom is where butterflies are meant.
Not in the cacophony confusion of clutter as this ones' life was spent
For you see, the lure of iridescent oil and the laud of lights galore
Can never quite compare
To the place where butterflies become
A place, simply known as there.
